Before you install
- Check that your device and chosen IPTV player are supported by your service provider.
- Have your provider-issued playlist URL or account details ready. These may use an M3U playlist or an app-specific login method.
- Use a stable internet connection and keep your device software up to date.
- Never share account credentials publicly or enter them into apps you do not trust.
General IPTV player setup
- Open the official app store on your device and search for a compatible IPTV player.
- Review the publisher, permissions, ratings and privacy information, then install the app.
- Open the player and choose its option to add a playlist, account or service.
- Enter the connection details supplied directly by your provider. Do not use playlist URLs from unofficial sources.
- Save the settings, wait for channels and the program guide to load, then test playback.
Fire TV and Fire TV Stick
- From the Fire TV home screen, open the Amazon Appstore.
- Find a compatible IPTV player and install it from the official store listing.
- Open the player and add your provider-issued connection details.
- If the required player is not available in your store, ask your service provider for its supported installation method. Avoid unknown APK files and unofficial downloader codes.
Android TV, Google TV and Android devices
- Open Google Play on your TV, phone or tablet.
- Install a player that is compatible with your device and service.
- Add your provider's playlist or account details in the app, then save and refresh the channel list.
iPhone, iPad and Apple TV
- Open the App Store and check that the player supports your Apple device and provider's connection type.
- Install the app, open its playlist or account setup screen, and enter the details supplied by your provider.
- Allow the channel list to finish loading before testing a stream.
Samsung, LG and other Smart TVs
- Open the television's official app store and check which compatible IPTV players are available for your model and region.
- Install a supported player, then use the provider-issued playlist or login information.
- If no compatible app is available, check with your service provider about supported external streaming devices.
Fix common IPTV setup problems
- No channels appear: check the playlist or account details with your provider, confirm the connection is active, and refresh the playlist.
- Login is rejected: re-enter the details carefully and check whether the provider has device limits or account restrictions.
- Video buffers: test your internet connection, restart the device and router, and try a lower stream quality if the player offers one.
- Electronic program guide is blank: refresh the guide in the app and confirm with your provider that guide data is available.
- App is missing from the store: availability varies by model and country; ask the device maker or provider for supported options.
Use authorized services
IPTV is a delivery technology; access rights depend on the service and the content. Use only services and streams you are legally entitled to access in your location. IPTV Sonic does not provide playlists, credentials, apps, or streaming access.
App names, menus and compatibility vary by device, software version, country and provider. This is a general setup guide; follow the current instructions from your device maker, app publisher and service provider.
